Description & Location

Arusha Coffee Lodge situated on the entrance off the major highway that serves the Northern Tanzania Safaris, is cushioned in a coffee plantation and along side one of the best restaurants in the area: Redds African Grill House. Arusha Coffee Lodge was inspired by the grace and romance of a fine 'old-time' coffee plantation where guests could anticipate an accommodation of the highest standard.

Because all Northern Tanzania Safaris and tours for Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Mount Kilimanjaro climb start from Arusha, Arusha Coffee Lodge can be requested as your preferred safari accommodation on your first night in Africa.

Accommodation

There are 21 private chalets featuring multi-level areas, huge balconies and beautiful fireplaces, all with ensuite bathroom facilities. In addition, each chalet features a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, ceilings fans, safes and hairdryers; each chalet also has its own coffee grinder and percolator in the spirit of a true coffee estate experience.  Other services at the lodge include phone and fax, Internet access and room service.

Dining & Cuisine
The extensive menu features an exciting array of traditional Tanzanian cuisine as well as variety of other African specialties is served. An ala carte menu is available for the less adventurous diner. Shades of red and autumnal hues in the restaurant creates a warm, cozy atmosphere and on cool evenings, log fires are lit in the dining room with campfires outside for those wishing to dine alfresco.
