Day 1: Arrival /stone town
Arrive at the Abeid Amani Karume Airport at Zanzibar where you will meet our correspondent with a placard containing your names. He will have you transferred to Stone Town where you will check into Dhow Palace (B&B). Spend the afternoon exploring Stone Town’s labyrinth of bustling narrow streets, explore some of Stone Town history and ethnic restaurants which serve various types of cuisines.
Day 2: Stone Town
Savor at a mouthwatering breakfast before you go on a Stone Town a guided tour. You will have the opportunity to visit the former slave market, the Palace Museum, the House of Wonders all which have a rich history dating back centuries ago. Late in the evening try the Forodhani Gardens located next to the harbor of Zanzibar. Forodhani is particularly famous for the Zanzibar pizza, various local and international cuisines are also served in the. Overnight dinner will be at the Dhow Palace (B&B).
Day 3: stone town by the beach
Transfer from Stone Town to the white beaches and warm, crystal sea of the West Coast with a Spice Tour along the way. Zanzibar is famous for its cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices. After the tour transfer to the Sunset Bungalows (HB).
Day 4: Kendwa beach
Just indulge and relax under a coconut palm on the Kendwa Beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean, and maybe explore the nearby mangrove forests with a canoe. Overnight stay at the Sunset Beach Bungalows (HB).
Day 5: Menai beach Bay
Take a boat trip to small islands in the protected Menai Bay. On the islands you will find an exposed sandbar, providing a pristine beach, perfect for relaxation. The sea around the islands is excellent for snorkeling. Feel like Robinson Crusoe on these untouched coral islands! Overnight stay at the Menai Bay Beach Bungalows (HB).
Day 6: Menai beach bay
Go on a dolphin tour in Kizimkazi. Have the opportunity to swim with the dolphins with your snorkeling gear and get to kill two birds with one stone. You can also engage on other activities such as scuba diving, sport fishing, Local village tour in Nungwi to witness the Dhow making demonstration, Turtles sanctuary Island, Prison Island Tours, Catamaran and Laser boat sailing, Windsurfing and canoe Sailing and Kite Surfing. Dinner and overnight will be at Menai Bay Beach Bungalows (HB).
Day 7: Departure/ Zanzibar International Airport/ flight back home
Have a scrumptious breakfast before you head to the Abeid Amani Krume international airport where you will board a plane back home.
