Set on the Eastern bank of the Simbazi River, a tributary of the Rufiji, in the South West of the Northern sector of the Selous. What is truly astounding about this picturesque Tented camp is the untouched vista that surrounds it. Enormous trees & lush dense vegetation invite natural elements & one may enjoy unique sightings from the comfort of your tent deck. The tranquility in itself is therapeutic, & if one had to listen very carefully, you could be lucky to hear the flight draught of a butterfly’s wings. Accommodation Our tented camp comprising of twelve well appointed tents positioned under individually grass-thatched structures, luxuriously furnished with adjoining beautifully appointed colonial bathrooms. Dining & Cuisine A separate dining area and guest lounge overlook the natural water hole, all complemented by an outside viewing deck & infinity swimming pool. Getting there: The Lodge is 45 minutes flight from Dar-es-Salaam to Stiegler airstrip with both the Coastal and Indigo airlines. From here, a pleasant 30minute game drive will get you to either of the lodges. |
